Now that we've finally put a lid on the long-drawn issue regarding the authenticity of Marian Rivera's Dolce and Gabbana "I Was There" shirt, here's another follow up!
It seems the issue has gotten the attention of Italian fashion designer Stefano Gabbana, co-founder of the luxury brand with fellow designer Domenico Dolce.
The 54-year-old designer followed the official Instagram accounts of GMA-7 actresses Marian Rivera and Heart Evangelista on Sunday, April 30.
Stefano has also been reposting OOTDs of their clients, and has included Marian and Heart's posts on Instagram.
He first reposted Heart's photo where the Mulawin VS Ravena actress is seen wearing the floral printed cotton off-shoulder dress from D&G's Spring/Summer 2017 collection.
The dress is priced at $1,535 or PHP73,000.
Stefano later reposted two of Marian's OOTDs.
He started off with Marian and Baby Zia's twinning moment: Marian and daughter both wore rose-printed swimwear from the luxury brand.
Marian's one-piece swimsuit is prized at $645 or PHP 33,000.
Baby Zia's cute swimming outfit is priced at $215 or around PHP 11,000.
Gabbana also posted Marian's OOTD where she is seen wearing the brand's rose-print bomber jacket, which costs $1,504 or around PHP 76,000.
He added four heart emojis in the caption, along with the hashtag #DGGirl.
The Italian designer also followed celebrity personal shopper Aimee Hashim's Instagram account.
Aimee is the person who bought Marian's controversial D&I "I Was There" T-shirt.
This makes her the first Pinay personal shopper that the Italian designer has followed on his (verified) Instagram account.
On Friday, April 28, Aimee posted a screenshot of her Instagram notification. Her caption: "Omg!!!!!!! Holy guacamole!!! Look who followed your personal shopper!!! This is my day!! I love you papa Jesus @stefanogabbana #vindicated #realdeal"
Aside from Marian and Heart, TV host/model Georgina Wilson also received a followback from Stefanno.
