Take it from designers Michael Leyva, Val Taguba, and Rajo Laurel: White is no longer the only option for your wedding gown.

In most weddings, it’s customary for the bride to wear white.

But designers Michael Leyva, Val Taguba, and Rajo Laurel have put a twist to this custom.

Bride to-be Anne Curtis was one of Michael Leyva's muses for his latest wedding collection at the Marry Me At Marriott bridal fashion gala last July 24.

Anne donned an embellished red gown with a layer of cascading ruffles.

Could this be a teaser to her bridal look when she marries Erwan Heussaff?

Arguably one of the best bridal looks this year, Divine Lee nailed her golden gown last August 5, when she said her ‘I dos’ to new husband Blake Go at Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral in Cebu.

Divine wrote on Instagram that she decided not to wear white because “I would wear bridal gowns to events.”

She admitted it was “tricky,” but the golden bride certainly pulled it off.
