LOOK: The FAMAS gown that John Herrera designed for Kim Chiu

Fashion designer John Herrera posts on Instagram the evening gown that he designed for Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu. The organizers of the 66th FAMAS Awards night approached John to create outfits for the hosts, which included Kim, Piolo Pascual, and Robi Domingo. Because of a miscommunication, Kim ended up wearing a gown by a different designer at the awards show.

Here's the gown that didn't make it to the 66th FAMAS Awards Night.

Fashion designer John Herrera posted on Instagram yesterday, June 11, the evening gown that he had created for Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu.

The gown is a black strapless column piece with white beaded embroidery and a thigh-high slit on the left side. Adding oomph to the creation is a voluminous and textured white train.

He simply captioned it with, "The Dress."

It can be recalled that the organizers of the awards night approached John and asked him to provide outfits for the evening's hosts, which included Kim, Piolo Pascual, and Robi Domingo.

But because of a miscommunication, Kim ended up wearing a gown from a different designer during the awards night on June 10, held at The Theatre at Solaire Resort & Casino, Pasay City.

At press time, Kim and John have already tweeted each other and decided to 'move forward.'
