Philippine bet Catriona Gray was one of the standouts at the Miss Universe 2018 preliminary competition.
The 24-year-old model-singer received one of the loudest cheers at the IMPACT Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, on Thursday night, December 13.
For the opening segment of the preliminaries, the candidates wore gowns from Sherri Hill.
Catriona's pick was a black dress with metallic embellishments.
Catriona set the stage on fire with her "Lava Walk" during the swimsuit round.
The Bicolana beauty queen and 93 other contestants wore swimsuits designed by Thailand's beloved princess Sirivannavari Nariratana.
Catriona's pick was a hot pink one-piece swimsuit with cutouts.
For the evening gown part of the competition, Catriona slayed the runway in a custom-made gown designed by Filipino fashion designer Mak Tumang.
In an Instagram post by @missesphilippines, Mak reportedly made seven gowns for Catriona's bid for the Miss Universe crown. However, the 24-year-old beauty queen only brought three to Bangkok.
