There is a restaurant called Salu in Sct. Torillo corner Sct. Fernandez streets, Quezon City, which is frequented by celebrities.

It's been opened since June 9, and it's owned by former actors Romnick Sarmenta and Harlene Bautista.

When asked why did they pick the name Salu, Harlene said, "Parang salu-salo din, pero dati pala, ginagamit 'yan na isang word lang, na salu.

"We have a managing partner who is a friend for almost twenty years na, na expertise talaga niya yung F&B [food and beverage].

“Sa restaurant talaga siya, so siya yung partner namin na isa."

So far, the reviews have been good. One even said it is by far "the best Filipino restaurant" he's ever tried.
