Rita Daniela believes that body issues should not be a success deterrent.

The Kapuso star has started promoting body positivity on social media, and underlines that it affects women of all shapes and sizes.

She also laments that sometimes, talent is overshadowed by body issues.

RITA: TALENT NOT WEIGHT

The 24-year-old actress hopes that her little efforts in promoting self-love will help change this mindset.

PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) speaks to Rita on November 9, at the launch event of Beautèderm, in Luxent Hotel, Timog Avenue, Quezon City.

Along with Camille Prats, Pauline Mendoza, Ken Chan, and Sanya Lopez, they are introduced as celebrity endorsers.

RITA TRIES TO LOSE WEIGHT BUT...

Because thin actresses look good on TV, and the ones with curvaceous figure look bigger, Rita says that she did try to lose weight.

"Kaya ayun, na-overfatigue.

Because of this, Rita was recently hospitalized.

Rita is proud of her voluptuous figure and often posts swimsuit photos on Instagram.

But is she open to getting treatments that will enhance her face and body.
