Jane de Leon's Darna workout is "sobrang hirap"

Part of Jane de Leon's preparations for the role of Darna is to be fit and sexy when she dons the costume, and to be strong when she does the fight scenes.

Since November 2019, Jane de Leon has started posting on Instagram a few snippets of her preparations for the Darna role.

Among her goals are to look fit and to be strong, so she has been training with fitness coach Culver Padilla.

Check out some of Jane's workout routines, which, as she described in her previous interview, are "sobrang hirap."

This one is called "hyperextension," which increases the ability to coordinate movement through lower back, and is also great for abs and core.

The 21-year-ol Kapamilya does it with a weight plate.

This routine is for her arms, and makes use of gymnastic rings.

Some days, she does oblique exercises, such as the sit-thru knee crunch, more arm exercises, like the forward plank walk.

In the caption, Jane's catchword is "Laban lang nang laban."
