Jackie Lou Blanco is a sexy lola at 55.
On the first week of 2020, she flaunted her beach-ready bod at the beach while cradling her "baby love," her apo and son Kenneth's baby girl Jacqueline Dabao.
Her Instagram post read, "Firsts with My baby love @jacquelinedabao. First Time on the beach! First time in Boracay..."
It was in 2017 when the actress decided to go back to her healthy lifestyle, and sought the help of fitness trainer Pau Quiza, who designed her weight-loss program.
Her fitness routine then entailed "30 minute-to-one-hour training" daily, while her diet lessened her intake of sugar and dairy products.
Jackie Lou's initial goal at that time was "to wear sleeveless."
But in the process, she also lost the fats on her tummy and thigh areas.
Two years later, the mestiza actress and daughter of Asia's Queen of Songs Pilita Corrales remains comfortable in her own skin.
Though she admits that she may never get her ripped abs back again, the mother of three is happy with her ongoing fitness journey.
Her post dated December 5, 2019 read, "My tummy has never been flat even when I was young. I always had 'puson.'
"I was a fat baby and even when I lost the baby fat, my pooch was always there.
"Some may think that because I regularly workout, flat yung tiyan ko. Hindi. Genetics does play a role in how our bodies react to what we put it through.
"I am a very realistic person and I’ve accepted that my tummy will never be flat, but I’m happy if it can get more toned, as much as my body will allow it to. I work with what I have and appreciate those improvements, no matter how small.
