Gloria Diaz, 69, stays fit and fab with tough workout

Sa edad na 69 years old, pinatutunayan pa rin ni Miss Universe 1969 Gloria Diaz na hawak niya ang korona ng pagiging fit and sexy!

Pinatunayan niya ito sa isang video sa kanyang Instagram account, kung saan makikita siyang nag-e-exercise ng "leg lifts," o leg raises, habang nakaupo sa isang exercise ball.

"This is for the abs. Mahirap ha," ang sabi ni Gloria.

Ang video ay ini-upload niya noong April 4, 2020, isang araw bago niya ipinagdiwang ang kanyang 69th birthday.

Siyempre pa, ang lahat ito ay habang naka-quarantine ang aktres sa bahay, bilang pagsunod sa ongoing enhanced community quarantine sa Luzon.

Sabi sa caption niya (published as is): "Tomorrow is my 70th Birthday—actually 69th, but 'di ba in Chinese [we] don't celebrate 9's !

"But since all being quarantined, I have to—at only once a dayexercise and wait for further instructions.

"Of course, clean house and share with others alcohol soap food and prayers.

Sa Instagram video niyang ito, kanilang ginawa ang exercise na kung tawagin ay "alternating oblique crunches."

Maari itong gawin by lying on your back, bending your knees, then placing your hands behind your head.

Pagkatapos, crunch as you move right elbow to left knee.

Bago mo ibaba ang ulo, crunch and move left elbow to right knee.

Importante ang exercise na ito sa pag-improve ng iyong stability, as well as increasing your abdominal strength and muscular endurance.

This requires the use of a weighted cable machine na tutulong sa pagpapatibay ng likod, mga braso, at abdominal muscles.

Ayon rin sa egym.com, mabuting gawin ang exercise na ito to "significantly reduce tension in the shoulder and neck area" and "to promote healthy posture."

Bukod sa kanyang healthy lifestyle, isa rin daw sa sikreto ni Gloria to looking young ay ang pagiging busy niya sa trabaho.

Aniya, "You have to work, kasi boredom will make you ugly, di ba?

Gloria is the first Pinay to be crowned Miss Universe in 1969.

Nanalo siya ng Best Supporting Actress award sa Metro Manila Film Festival noong 1998, Gawad Urian noong 2002, at FAMAS noong 2006 at 2010.
