Joshua Garcia's interests have expanded during the lockdown period.

Initially, he spent it on gaming. Trivia: the Star Magic talent once played three days straight without sleeping and showering.

In an interview with Cinema News At Home Edition with Bianca Gonzalez on August 28, 2020, Joshua said, "Nung first lockdown, first month, inaabot ako ng umaga kaka-computer."

By May, he was noticeably thinner.

But the reason behind his weight loss was not just the sleepless nights.

The 22-year-old actor also decided to work seriously on working out, to the point where he overdid it.

"Nag-cardio-cardio, exercise. Nasobrahan nga ako."

How did he know it was too much?

To those doing cardio exercises for more than an hour every day, Men's Journal's advice is to limit "low-intensity cardio" to three days a week, and do strength activities to "preserve what muscle you already have and promote the growth of new muscle."

40-50 pages per day

Aside from exercise, Joshua also turned to reading to make his quarantine life more "productive."

He continued: "...nagsimula ako magbasa-basa ng libro.

What is he reading now?

Binabasa ko You're A Bad Ass.

For Joshua, reading helps him in his professional and personal growth.

He recalled that it was actually his ex-girlfriend Julia Barretto who influenced him to buy books.

"Ang dami kong binili before. Kinuha ng Mama ko iyong iba. Iyong natira, kaunti na lang."

two vlogs per week

Joshua also revealed plans to start his own vlog.

Parang ginagawa nilang diary iyong YouTube. Social media platform din siya like instagram."

Watching the vlogs of others inspired him to make his own.

When is he planning to launch his vlog?

My plan kasi is to upload two videos sa isang linggo.

"Parang gusto kong tahakin entertainment na comedy."

A part of him regrets not venturing into vlogging sooner.

"Andami kong na-realize.
