ABS-CBN comedian/host Vice Ganda has turned to sports to get through another round of Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) in the NCR and its nearby provinces.

The 45-year-old It's Showtime host has just set up a makeshift badminton court in front of his house so that he can play the sport with boyfriend Ion Perez.

And it seems he is planning to add a basketball court to it as well.

Aside from badminton, Vice Ganda also enjoys playing basketball with Ion. And it seems he's planning to add one more court in his front yard.

"Bumili ako ng basketball ring. Nagba-basketball kami ni Ion. Three days na kaming nagba-basketball.

In his YouTube vlog dated April 13, 2021, Tuesday, Vice Ganda revealed that Ion was injured in a game, so he surprised with a brand new PS5, which they can play together while waiting for his sprain to heal.

At the digital event, Vice Ganda said, "Lahat ginawa na namin.

Ako, especially, I choose not to be sad.

"So buti na nga lang, naka-ipun-ipon ako so nakakaya kong gumawa ng paraan para libangin at aliwin ang sarili."

dealing with the pandemic and COPING

Vice Ganda also offered consoling thoughts about coping with pandemic, saying without cracking a joke, "Kanya-kanyang choice yun, e, kung paano ka magsu-survive.

"Pero I'm not saying na dapat hindi tayo nalulungkot.

"And your emotions are valid whether or not you're happy or sad.

"Whatever you're feeling, that is valid.

Kaya gagawa ako ng paraan right away."

A member of the press asked Vice Ganda what he thinks is the worst, physical, mental, or psychological pain?

He answered, "That will depend on your strength.

"Ako kasi, ano ako, e, mas hirap ako kapag physical.

"Kapag emotional or psychological, parang mas natatagalan ko, mas matiisin ako.

"Pero kapag physical, mas iniinda ko, kasi siguro mas nasanay na akong may iniinda akong emotional or psychological pain for the longest time."

He went on to explain, "E yung mga ganung pain, lalo na growing up, wala namang naiinom na gamot dun, e.
