Pia Guanio and husband Steeve Mago are fully vaccinated with Russian-made Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine. Kapuso TV host reminds netizens to still practice minimum health protocols: "Getting vaccinated doesn’t make you covid-proof, it just mitigates the effects, should you catch it."

Fully vaccinated na ang TV host na si Pia Guanio at ang asawa nitong si Steeve Mago.

Pero kahit may panibagong layer na sila ng proteksiyon laban sa COVID-19, hindi raw masamang sumunod pa rin sa minimum health protocols.

Sabi ng Eat Bulaga! co-host sa kanyang Instagram post kahapon, June 14, mahirap maging kampante dahil may mga kasama sila sa bahay na mga bata at mga kasambahay na hindi pa nabakunahan.

Ayon kay Pia, “Let’s go out? Steeve and I are fully vaccinated, yet we still pick and choose the places — and reasons — for going out.

“Knowing that we have kids who are still vunerable and members of the household that have yet to get their jabs, we only really go out when it’s absolutely necessary, and always with our masks and face shields.”

Dagdag pa niya, kahit bakunado na ang isang tao, hindi pa rin maiiwasang mahawaan ito ng COVID-19 virus.

Pero nakakatulong daw ang bakuna upang hindi lumala at madala pa sa ospital.

Ani Pia, “Getting vaccinated doesn’t make you covid-proof, it just mitigates the effects, should you catch it. Continue to stay safe and pray for God’s protection and deliverance.”

May isang netizen ang nagtanong kay Pia kung anong brand ng bakuna ang naiturok sa kanila.

Sagot ng TV host, ang COVID-19 vaccine mula sa Russia na Sputnik V ang na-avail nila.

Pero hindi naman daw kailangan maging choosy o mapili. Ang mahalaga raw ay mabakunahan ang isang tao.

Ayon sa Food and Drug Administration (FDA) at Department of Health (DOH), ang lahat ng bakunang may emergency use authority (EUA) mula sa kanila at emergency use listing (EUL) ng World Health Organization (WHO) ay ligtas at epektibo.

Ang kasalukuyang binabakunahan sa bansa ay ang mga nasa A1 (medical frontliners), A2 (senior citizens), A3 (persons with comorbidities), at A4 (economic frontliners) categories.
