Saad ni Ashley Ortega sa email nito sa PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal),"Yes, there were times when I get depressed and have anxieties.

"I think it’s not just me who experienced it during this pandemic. I think that’s one of the challenges of this pandemic."

"During the start of the pandemic, I was really anxious almost every day since we were put in a situation where everything seems unclear.

"Every day, the news would always broadcast bad things because of the pandemic.

"I became anxious about the situation, the people, my family and friends, my work, and even the government."

HOW THEY COPE WITH PANDEMIC STRESS

1. Be productive.

Ani Ashley, "I would always keep myself productive para may distraction every time I get bored," at para rin may naa-achieve siya na "something meaningful and substantial, like enrolling in an online course, starting a business, or finding a new hobby."

Mga gawaing bahay ang inatupag ni Althea.

Aniya, "Doing household chores, fixing my stuff, watching movies or listening to music which will help me not to think too much.

Dagdag naman ni Therese, "Having creative hobbies also put my mind at ease."

2. STAY POSITIVE.

"Madami akong natutunan during this pandemic tulad ng pag-appreciate ng small things.

"Hindi ba ngayon limited na yung actions natin unlike before and it shows na kung paano nag-e-effort yung tao para lang maipa-feel sa atin yung love or happiness kahit ganito yung pinagdadaanan natin."

Ayon naman kay Ashley, "...the most important thing is we should always look at the bright side.

"As long as we are healthy and we have food on the table, we should consider ourselves blessed."

3. VALUE SELF-CARE AND SELF-LOVE

Paalala ni Ashley, "There is nothing wrong with taking a break and allotting time for yourself...

"With the situation we are in right now, it becomes all the more important that we prioritize our well-being and state of mind.

"So I hope that the youth today will find it in themselves to value self-care and self-love."

4. ENJOY TIME WITH FAMILY

5. TALK TO GOD.

Sabi ni Althea, "What I do whenever I experience anxiety is to talk to God.

"Hindi madali kapag inatake tayo ng anxiety or depression but always remember na nandiyan si God sa tabi natin kaya kapag nakakaranas tayo ng ganito kausapin lang natin si God."

Saad ni Therese, "I was able to redeem myself by serving the Lord more and helping others who are in need because of the pandemic."

Things may be hard today and yesterday, but we may not know what tomorrow might bring so just keep holding on.

"This too shall pass. Above all, it is okay not to feel okay so open up if you must. You are not a burden, open up."
