Kris Aquino gives updates on her #wellnessjourney while she's on a break from showbiz.

She wrote on Instagram, "I want to be at my best health for them because I want Kuya & Bimb to have the best of me... I said we need to have 1 physical activity we'll do together everyday."


On March 8, Kris Aquino announced via Instagram that she would temporarily leave ABS-CBN, her home network for almost 20 years.

Her reason? She wanted to focus more on her health and family.

In a previous exclusive interview, she told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), “I'm very intense. I invest my emotions in the work.

“I'm really into it when I'm on the job, which is why now I have to back down a bit.

“The doctors talked to me, in conference, and said, 'We can up the dosage of your medication, but you still need to help us!'

“I don't want to up my dosage, so I really have to do something.

“I really have to stay healthy for my kids. What will happen to them when I'm gone?”

On Instagram, the Queen of All Media has been sharing her #wellnessjourney while vacationing in Hawaii.

Kris has been aiming for 10,000 steps a day.

Her “fitness buddies”: sons Josh and Bimby.

She added that their walking activities have become their family bonding, too.

When she doesn't feel like walking, Kris's alternative exercise is swimming.

She wrote, “Too hot to walk my 10,000 steps, so my compromise was to swim for one hour. #mywellnessjourney #healthymom”

Kris also shared that she and her sons agreed to do one physical activity together every day.

“I want to be at my best health for them because I want Kuya & Bimb to have the best of me... I said we need to have 1 physical activity we'll do together everyday. Today they chose swimming--I floated #Family #mommylife #Love"
