If you’ve been told by your ophthalmologist to get a pair of eyeglasses, do not take it for granted.

Since laptops, computers, and cell phones have become among our life’s essentials, the “blue light” they emit makes deteriorating eyesight inevitable for most of us.

Eye Society owner Neelam Gopwani told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), “We really should take care of our eye health.

“The first sign, of course, is when their eyes are blurry or anything like that, they should be checked right away.”

What happens when you stall your visit to an eye shop?

Marketing Head Farrah Rodriguez replies, “That’s when you feel dizzy, you get headaches.

“It’s like you are overworking your eyes.

“And then, the blurry vision becomes sort of normal to you.

“’Tapos when you wear eyeglasses, saka mo makikitang ganito pala kapag malinaw.”

Rodriguez highlighted that eyeglasses will not “make your eyes see clearer, but will make you see better.”
