After more than a decade, Aiko Melendez finally got to wear a two-piece swimsuit again...with confidence.
Yesterday, December 20, the 41-year-old actress posted on Instagram a teaser: she was clad in a fuchsia bikini.
Earlier today, December 21, she showed off her slimmer body in a black one-piece swimsuit.
She has not really achieved her ultimate body goal, stating, "I still have those swimmers' arms."
But she wanted to prove her bashers wrong, and show the result of her religious workout and diet.
"...Just showing off that I really lost weight for some who thinks that I've been putting too much filter in my pictures. C'mon haven't you guys [been] seeing my workout? Videos won't lie, dudes."
Indeed, she is now thinner and has smaller waist.
In a previous interview, she revealed losing 50 lbs., and trimmed her waist line down to 28 inches, thanks to her 1,500-calorie-per-day diet, exercise, and a machine called Slimline Pod.
She's hopping though she'd eventually have toned abs.
On Instagram, she wrote, "I promised myself not to post a front view picture when I'm wearing two-piece only because I am aiming to get abs.
"So side glimpse muna guys, ok..."
Her beach photos were taken in Pangasinan, where she visited the 92-year-old grandfather of Marthena, her daughter with ex-husband Martin Jickain.
Aiko also brought her son Andre Yllana with her.
