Jodi Sta. Maria exercises not just for toned bod and abs: 'For depression, too!'

In one of her Instagram posts, actress Jodi Sta. Maria shares the benefits of exercise on mental health: "It can help fight anxiety and depression too!"

Jodi Sta. Maria is in her best shape, and she is clearly proud of it.

The 35-year-old Kapamilya actress posted a photo on Instagram showing her lean physique.

Coming home from a workout and still wearing her gym clothes, Jodi’s followers immediately noticed her well-defined abs.

Jodi, who's also back in school taking up BS Psychology at Southville International School and Colleges, has been actively working out. 
In her exercise videos, she promotes the benefits of exercise to one's mental health. 
"Did you know just a single session of exercise can have significant positive effects on your mood, stress levels, and brain function. It can help fight anxiety and depression too!" she said in one of her Instagram posts. 
Jodi, mom to 11-year-old Thirdy Lacson, favors cardio workouts.

She also lifts weights, which helps tone her arms.
