Does Rachel Peters have a secret to staying sexy?
“I wish I knew the secret," she began during the launch of Rustan’s ActiveWear on March 1, 2018.
The Miss Universe Philippines 2017 resumed, "To be honest, when you’re trying to lose weight, I think the most important thing is the result of what you eat.
"Don’t quote me on this, but I think 80 percent of what you eat and then 20 percent on how you work out.”
Before leaving for Las Vegas for the Miss Universe pageant in 2017, she told Cosmo.ph her diet.
"I was on a diet, and I was losing weight really fast. I was doing chicken breast and cauliflower..."
The beauty queen does not also work out every day.
She said, “No, I don’t do work out everyday. I think your body deserve a rest. I try to work out four times a week. I limit it to one-and-a-half-hour workout.”
Aside from surfing, which is believed to burn at least 193 calories per hour, Rachel has three types of routines.
“I do boxing, I do yoga and weight training.”
Has she always been this thin?
“I lost a lot of weight actually last 2014, noong sumali ako sa Miss World, I lost mga eight or nine kilos. Medyo malaki yung ibinawas ko sa pamamagitan ng workout and diet.”
She was thinner when she joined Binibining Pilipinas in 2017.
