Just for one day, Miriam Quiambao forgets that pizza is among the foods that she's intolerant to.

Miriam Quiambao became a mommy on February 16, 2019, 7:32 p.m., at the Asian Hospital and Medical Center.

Her baby boy, Elijah Roberto, weighed 4 pounds and 7 ounces.

On Instagram, she further described, "[He] cried heartily, had an Apgar score of 10, and has a perfect latch."

Apgar score determines how well the baby is doing outside his/her mother's womb. Usually done ten minutes after birth, it examines the breathing effort, heart rate, muscle tone, reflexes, and skin color.

For Miriam's part, among the first things she did was treat herself to a slice of pizza!

In another post, she exclaimed, "Finally! This is the moment I have long been waiting for: baby feeds on me while I feed on pizza!!!"

This is a milestone for the beauty queen because she is "intolerant to certain foods."

She continued, "I have been avoiding rice, dairy, potatoes, breads and anything that has wheat in it (except pasta made of pure durum wheat semolina which I am not intolerant to).

"Scientific studies have shown that when we eat foods that we are intolerant to, it causes certain inflammation and delayed onset allergic reactions in our body which could include allergic rhinitis, migraines, skin irritations and the like.

"It could also possibly lead to other chronic health conditions in the future. In my case, any inflammation in my body may have been a reason for infertility and other effects that may trigger a reaction that could worsen my APAS condition and lead to further complications in my pregnancy."

Note that food intolerance is different from food allergy, and it happens "when a person has difficulty digesting a particular food...[leading] to symptoms such as intestinal gas, abdominal pain or diarrhea," according to American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology.

In the case of the 43-year-old host, she took the Food Intolerance blood test to know which foods cause negative reactions.

Since February 18, Monday, she's been "back to my regular programming" in terms of diet.

Finally! This is the moment I have long been waiting for: baby feeds on me while I feed on pizza!!! 🍕🍕🍕 . For the past year, ever since I learned that I am intolerant to certain foods, I have been avoiding rice, dairy, potatoes, breads and anything that has wheat in it (except pasta made of pure durum wheat semolina which I am not intolerant to). . Scientific studies have shown that when we eat foods that we are intolerant to, it causes certain inflammation and delayed onset allergic reactions in our body which could include allergic rhinitis, migraines, skin irritations and the like. It could also possibly lead to other chronic health conditions in the future. In my case, any inflammation in my body may have been a reason for infertility and other effects that may trigger a reaction that could worsen my APAS condition and lead to further complications in my pregnancy. I learned what those foods are by taking the Food Intolerance blood test from Hi Precision Diagnostics. . Now that I have given birth, I can finally got to treat myself to some much anticipated pizza! Yummm!!! . Tomorrow, I’m back to my regular programming but today, I shall indulge. Happy Sunday! . #SundayIndulgenceDay #CelebratingLife #ElijahDay1 #MyAsianStory
