Andi tells PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) through the Promil Organic media roundtable, "Every day, she waters and plants and she tries to look for worms...
"And if there are any, like new leaves, and if there are dead leaves and all the other plants...she cuts them as well. So, she's actually a really good gardener."
The celebrity mom of two adds that Olivia likes to wake up early in the morning to see how her plants are growing.
The child won't even eat breakfast. She runs straight outside to see her garden.
Andi continues, "When she started gardening, she became more active outside. She's always outside.
"She'll look for insects, she'll look for plants, she'll check her plants.
"In the afternoon, she's also outside. So, she's an outdoor girl."
Instead of toys and dresses, Olivia enjoys "plant shopping."
Andi says, "We bought little plants and little pots because we wanted to re-plant all the baby plants that we had at home, so that's our project now.
"I mean, we don't even have a huge garden at home. We only have like plant boxes at home in both sides, but she really makes use of them... She's just really been into it."
According to Andi, her daughter is a natural nurturer, which explains her green thumb, her curiosity about how plants grow and where food comes from.
Olivia's nurturing side began manifesting after her baby sister Amelia was born in January 2019.
Andi elaborates, "I think also a lot of changes happened when she became an ate.
"Like, she knew she had to. She learned how to take care of her things, her sister, and also her plants."
Before 2020 ends, Andi and her husband GP Reyes plan to give Olivia a bigger garden to further develop her gardening skills.
"We're going to try to make our own little vegetable garden talaga because there's an empty lot beside us.
"That's our project. We're gonna make a garden. Just for her."
Olivia turned five in March.
