Nadine Samonte is loving her life outside of showbiz.
Her last television gig was a guest apperance in the GMA-7 series Super Ma'am in 2017.
Since then, Nadine has focused on her family. She is married to Richard Chua and has two kids: Heather and Titus.
Presently, Nadine is enjoying family life in Zambales where her mother-in-law, veteran actress Isabel Rivas, owns a farm.
Here, the former Starstruck avenger gets to savor her family time. She particularly enjoys doing household chores with her daughter Heather.
"I love washing and ironing and cleaning," the celebrity mom says in one of her Instagram posts.
"Mas gusto ko hands on ako sa ibang bagay kasi minsn our kids follow what we do.
"That's the reason din kung bakit wala ako sa showbiz.
"I'm enjoying every minute na kasama ko mga anak ko and my fam. I love doing anything for them."
Nadine and daughter Heather also harvest fruits and vegetables together.
The Kapuso talent even goes fishing at the farm's pond.
The farm has a size of 10 hectares, which gives Nadine, Richard, and the kids more than enough space to move around.
Nadine and Richard like to take walks and bike rides around the farm together.
Isabel Rivas calls this property a "paradise farm."
It is meant to be her retirement place.
In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in January 2007, Isabel revealed it was her brother Dennis Roldan who had the idea of investing in a farm in their home province.
Dennis is a former actor and politican, who was sentenced to lifetime imprisonment after he was found guilty of kidnapping a Filipino-Chinese boy in 2005.
"Sabi niya, 'Lika, mag-mangga tayo,'" Isabel told PEP.ph then.
"Iyong isang kapatid pa namin sumosyo. Bumili kami 30 hectares-hati-hati kami-tigte-ten then kanya-kanya na kami ng develop.
"And you know what? I found my love! Nahanap ko iyong pinagdadasal ko sa Diyos all these years—iyong pang-retirement ko."
Nadine and Richard have been living at the farm for three months.
