Drew Arellano eyes the province of Rizal as "the most feasible" place for his future family home.
He said, "Definitely, I can see myself living there eventually."
Talking to media last November 9, 2020 at the virtual pocket presscon of his GMA News TV show Biyahe ni Drew, he added, "it's close to my house and it’s bikeable.
"And it's situated sa elevated area, you know what I mean?"
He further said he was convinced after his recent stay in the province together with his wife Iya Villania and their kids Primo, Leon, and Alana.
Drew related, "A couple of months ago, we went to an isolated place in Rizal. We kind of rented this farm for like three days.
"And it is so nice to see them without masks, enjoying freely, getting some fresh air and everything."
The Arellano family currently lives in a condo unit together with Iya's mother Elena and a couple of household helpers.
According to Drew, moving his whole household to a place with wide open space would meant a lot to him.
He said. "Malaking bagay iyon, mas lalo na sa aming household helpers. We've all been stuck here [in the condo] for the past couple of months.
"There's nothing like stretching out your legs and breathing fresh air again."
Drew Arellano: father of three
The birh of their third child Alana in July 2020 has given the celebrity parents another reason to be joyful despite the monotony of being quarantined.
Drew said in the virtual interview: "The kids give us true happiness and iyon nga, e, it;s hard to answer questions like, 'Oh, what were your struggles during the quarantine?'
"Parang… it's more, you know, happy times because we're one family inside our house and having so much fun together.
"We're very lucky to have three kids... We can't ask for more. I mean, we're in a very lucky position.
"This quarantine gave us more reasons to be happy and to feel that we're very lucky because of the kids."
Christmas time at the Arellanos
Drew disclosed their family Christmas celebration would be a bit stark this year, given the COVID-19 crisis.
He said, "Kasi naman kami, kahit wala naman kami pupuntahan, basta we're together it's always special.
"Like I remember Halloween, what we did was, walang trick or treat siyempre sa labas.
"Ang ginawa namin, each door naglagay kami ng parang Halloween sign na kami-kami lang iyong nag-station doon. One household helper would be behind the door."
Drew added in jest, "As if naman malaki bahay namin, di ba?"
Turning serious, Drew mused, "Anything is possible. It's always a choice to be happy, di ba?
"So, I think it would be easy for us to think of ways to celebrate Christmas this way."
