Aiza Seguerra says wife Liza Diño helps him beat anxiety

Aiza Suguerra: “Liza helped me face my fears, my issues, my insecurities.”

Constant nervousness, rapidly-increasing heart rate, vague sense of impending doom, and sweaty palms.

These are just some of the common symptoms of anxiety.

Many people, including celebrities, have been attacked by it.

Some have taken it a lot worse than others.

For Aiza Seguerra, he has to fight it hard and change the way he lives.

On his recent Instagram post, Aiza reveals how anxiety has affected him.

“For the longest time, I've been dealing with anxiety issues.

“It changed my personality, how I dealt with people.

“Kung paano ko tignan ang buhay. The future terrifies me.

“I lost my happiness, sense of security, myself.

"I had myself checked, took meds to battle my anxiety and depression but gano'n pa rin.”

Fortunately, Aiza is surrounded with wonderful people, including his wife Liza Diño, parents, and friends that helped him get through the feeling of uneasiness.

“Importante talaga kung sinong nakapalibot sa iyo,” Aiza says.

“My parents and friends were supportive kaya kahit papaano I got better.

“When Liza came into my life, ang dami kong issues na naglabasan.

“May times na kahit ako overwhelmed sa nararamdaman ko.

“It's been a long time since pinansin ko yung feelings ko dahil inisantabi ko siya dahil akala ko that's the only way to deal with my fears. Mali pala.”

His wife helped him cope with anxiety issues.

Aiza relates, “Liza helped me face my fears, my issues, my insecurities.

“Kapag hindi ko na naiintindihan, siya yung umiintindi para sa akin.

“She calmed me, she listened to me.

"She made me feel safe.

“She made me feel that it's okay to open up my heart and I don't need to be afraid anymore."

And if, sometimes, she gets anxiety attacks, Aiza says Liza has been putting her on the right track.

“Everyday, may trigger pa rin. I still have my issues. I still get insecure, confused, tired, and scared.

“But all I need to do is hold her hand, look at her, ask her to embrace me. Then, everything feels right again in my world.”
