In 2009, Sylvia Sanchez's family home in Ortigas City was ravaged by the floods brought about by typhoon Ondoy.
Two years after that traumatic incident, the actress, along with her husband Art Atayde and their four kids Arjo, Ria, Gela, and Xavi, moved into an area that was not prone to flooding.
The Greatest Love star gave YES! magazine a tour of their home, which, interestingly, has twinning bedrooms for showbiz siblings Arjo and Ria.
The latter pointed out though that it was the Arjo who copied her room.
She told YES!, "I worked on the design of my room, with the help of Mama Reg [fashion stylist Regie Cruz]."
"Si Arjo, he wasn't very hands-on with the decoration of his room.
"Kaya if you see his room, para siyang copy ng room ko na ginawang pang-boys."
Ria's private space had an accent wallpaper in one of her walls.
Meanwhile, Arjo picked the red, black, and gray colors for his "favorite part of the house."
The FPJ: Ang Probinsyano star said that his room has become his sanctuary since he set aside partying.
He revealed to the YES! team, "Those days [going out] are over. What I like doing now is staying at home and inviting people over."
It's also the best place to have his "me time" because "all a person can do inside this room is lie down and sleep."
Here's a peek into his private space.
