Every Christmas season, Kim Chiu puts up her own Christmas tree.
The annual tradition, including the purchase of ornaments, usually takes about two weeks to accomplish.
But this year, she only allotted three days for her "blue and white" tree.
On Instagram, she wrote three days ago, November 26: "A few more days before Christmas!!!
"It's that time of the year again, I always look forward to put up our tree!
"Step 1 of 2!!! LIGHTS! (madumi ba yung kamay ko?! Struggle is real!)"
Wrapping the tree with lights has been the "hardest part."
But she always does the task in a jolly mood, and finds it therapeutic.
Her caption for this video was a line from the Yuletide carol "Deck the Halls": "Tis the season to be jolly la la la lala la la la la!!!
"Uy, aminin mo kumanta ka while reading!!!"
"Day 2 of making my tree."
She further wrote, "It's starting to feel like Christmas!!!"
The Kapamilya star has been doing this since she moved in to the house she purchased in 2011.
She "stopped for two years when my mom passed away." That was in 2013.
She resumed the tradition in 2015.
Here's the "finished product," which was "made with love."
She likes looking at her tree.
"It always gives me a happy feeling," she exclaimed.
This was her pink tree in 2016.
She worked on it for "half a month of on and off decorating," and had to "borrow the ladder na mahaba" from her neighbor.
