With summer heat at its scorching peak, nothing is more inviting than a big swimming pool area to cool down.
Lucky for these celebrities, they don’t have to endure the city traffic to get to a nearby resort as their backyard practically looks like one already.
Just take a look at these celebrity swimming pools:
Jinkee Pacquiao
Their two mansions are a “happy place” for the wife of boxing champion Manny Pacquiao, and it’s clear why she calls them that way.
Just take a look at the swimming pool in her Makati home.
The pool at their family home in General Santos City is equally inviting.
Coco Martin
There’s no doubt that Coco’s 2,000-square-meter home is a work of art, and the same goes for his backyard swimming area.
In an interview with YES! magazine, the Kapamilya actor revealed that a pool reminds him of the river that he and his cousins frequented when they were kids.
He said, “Tuwing hapon, nalililgo kami sa ilog, kaya gusto ko may swimming para sa mga pamangkin ko.”

Willie Revillame
In one of his Tagaytay mansions, the Wowowin host has a great view of Taal lake and volcano from his lap pool area.
YES! magazine described this area as the “most serene spot” in the multi-story property.

Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez
Here’s another home with a grand poolside view.
This is Regine’s favorite spot to relax.
Its ambiance makes her feel like she’s in another country.
The singer tells YES!, “No’ng una nga kaming lumipat dito, para kaming nag-i-spa, magswi-swim kami ng gabi. Para kaming nasa ibang bansa, e!”

Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres
Adding to the “modern and coastal” vibe of the Torres-Gomez home is their poolside area.
It looks like the perfect place to relax after a hard day at the office.

Bea Alonzo
One of the scenic spots in her home, the lanai and pool area offer two ways to relax: under the shade (lanai) or under the sun (pool).

John Lloyd Cruz
A last-minute addition to his Antipolo home, John Lloyd has a pool in his backyard.
It features an infinity sign in the floor tiles as the actor was advised by a feng shui expert to put one to counter the supposed bad luck the area had.
John Lloyd explains to YES!, “Kasi parang bad luck pag may hukay ka sa property mo. So, para makontra siya, sa feng shui, maglagay ka ng infinity image.”
Aside from the infinity sign, the poolside also has a replica of the ancient Greek sculpture Venus de Milo.
