Rocco Nacino is just a few days closer to finally completing his biggest project: his dream home.
In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) last Thursday, September 20, the 31-year-old Kapuso actor expressed how excited he is to finally check one item off his bucket list.
He said, "I'm loving the stress of it. It's part of life. It's a big, big change in my life right now.
"I'm more responsible with my money. I'm smarter with how I spend.
"I'm smarter with the clothes I pick and buy now. It's just a big step from how I used to be before."
PEP.ph caught up with the Pamilya Roces star at the opening of Coach's new boutique in Power Plant Mall, Makati City.
According to Rocco, it took him three years to finally start building his dream home.
The Kapuso star said he has been saving for his new house for a while now since he got the lot in 2015.
"I went for the lot and true enough tumaas yung value niya since I got it three years ago.
"The planning stage was the longest, from the permits and everything.
"But now, when it comes to the structural, ambilis naman lahat so ambilis din lumabas ng pera."

Rocco describes his house as "very modern" buy "homey."
He detailed, "It's very relaxing. It sits on top of a hill in Antipolo so it has a beautiful view of Ortigas.
"I have a lot of balconies. It has a lot of glass so the sun can just come in and make everything beautiful."
When asked why he picked Antipolo as the site of his new house, he answered, "I wanted the view kasi.
"I wanted a place that's away from the hustle and bustle of the city and yet I can have access to immediately.
"So Antipolo was the closest I can get to serenity and quietness and, at the same time, madali lang makapunta sa trabaho ko.
"Sakto, yung village ko, maraming nagte-taping dun so perfect siya."
One thing Rocco made sure when he was planning the structure of his house was that every room should be interconnected.
"It's a house that's made to have everyone interact with everyone. Ayoko yung mag-i-intercom ka pa.
"Gusto ko yung isang tawag lang, maririnig na talaga.
The GMA Artist Center talent continued, "There are houses na mansiyon na talaga and I don't like that.
"I feel na family interaction is very important. So isang tawag lang, maririnig mo na.
"It's how my parents' house was built, so I wanted mine to be that way also."

His new house will have three floors with six rooms and six bathrooms.
He told PEP.ph,"There's a lot of wood and glass involved, lots of high ceilings. There's a game room and a man cave, for me."
The whole third floor of his new house will be his private space.
Rocco said, "My office is on the third floor and the whole master bedroom and bathroom is there."
However, the Starstruck V alumnus said he's most excited about the kitchen area.
Rocco explained, "It's situated where it's easy to see someone, my family.
"I made sure na merong island dun para dun magkuwentuhan, dun ang TV. Yun ang main place to stay and hang out."
Aside from that, Rocco also looks forward to the gatherings he'll host at his home.
"I like organizing get-togethers. Ako lagi taya, kumbaga. So I had that in thought also when I was planning the house.
"Sabi ko, organizer ako ng dinners and get-togethers so we have to have a place where we can all get together to have barbecues like sa back of the house, ayun."
