Neri Naig posed this question to her Instagram followers early this week: "Sino ba dapat ang humahawak ng pera o sahod ng Mister? Dapat bang hawak lahat ni Misis?"

The celebrity mom noticed that people have often made a fuss out of her financial agreement with husband Chito Miranda.

While Chito provides for the family's monthly household budget, Neri still earns her own money through her many lifestyle enterprises.

Neri then took to her Instagram to ask her followers the question.

She wrote in the caption of her post, "Di ko gets minsan kung bakit big deal sa iba na may kanya kanya kaming pera ng asawa ko.

"Yes, may conjugal properties.

A number of followers shared their personal insights on the comments section, and Neri's husband Chito reacted to some of these replies.

One netizen wrote, "For me, mas healthy ang relationship ng mag-asawa if they both have separate savings or money.

"As long as naibibigay ni mister ang contribution niya sa house tulad ng electric bills, Internet or kung ano man ang napag-agreehan ninyong sharing.

"It's okay na may sariling pera ang bawat isa, because isang way din iyan para na-e-enjoy ng bawat isa ang mga pinagtrabuhan at pinaghirapan nila.

"And also, to make them feel less burdened na they still have their own money..."

Chito agreed to this statement by replying with the thumbs up emoji.

Another fan had similar thoughts about the matter.

This reply prompted one follower to share her experience.

Chito reacted to this comment with the "rock on" hand emoji and face with tears of joy emoji.
