Here it is, the next patama article na puwede mong i-share sa family group chat, kung saan mababasa ito ng mga annoying titas na hobby ang magtanong ng, "Kelan ka mag-aasawa?"

If hindi nila makuha yung idea na hindi kailangan ng babae na mag-asawa para lang maging masaya, baka mas maliwanagan sila kung isang professional ang nagsabi.

Ayon kay Paul Dolan, isang behavioral science professor, nag-iba na raw ang "traditional markers of success."

Aniya, "Married people are happier than other population subgroups, but only when their spouse is in the room when they're asked how happy they are. When the spouse is not present: fucking miserable."

Ayon naman sa isang longitudinal study, mas nagbe-benefit ang mga lalaki sa marriage dahil napapakalma sila nito: "They make more money at work; they take less risks; and they live longer!"

Pero complete opposite naman ang benefit ng marriage sa mga babae.

Ang mga middle-aged married women daw ay may higher risk sa physical at mental conditions kesa sa mga single women.

Ang eksplanasiyon ni Dolan ay, "You see a single woman of 40, who has never had children—'Bless, that's a shame, isn't it? Maybe one day you'll meet the right guy and that'll change.' No, maybe she'll meet the wrong guy and that'll change. Maybe she'll meet a guy who makes her less happy and healthy, and die sooner."
