Neri Naig and Chito Miranda will be opening their first business together soon.

The Miranda's Rest House, which was formerly called Alfonso's House, is currently on its final stages of renovation.

Neri shows an aerial view of the rest house on her Instagram account.

Its caption, published as is, reads: "Miranda's Rest House! See you in 3 months! Matatapos na talaga! @mirandasresthouse

"Eto yung FIRST business namin ni Chito bilang mag asawa. FIRST family business, bwahaha! I gave in!

Beautification at renovation for some parts.

"Di lang kita yung events place sa bandang dulo, but I will post ang mga updates ng @mirandasresthouse soon! Exvited na ako!

"Halos maubos ang savings pero worth it! Mababawi din naman soon! Sanaaaa! Haha!"

Neri: Pursue that "impossible" dream

Along with her Instagram update on Miranda's Rest House, Neri takes the opportunity to encourage her followers to reach for their dreams in the same caption.

Kayang kaya yan!

Neri adds that part of pursuing those dreams is learning the value of patience and perseverance.

It also means acknowledging one's weakness and accepting it as part of the journey.

Go lang! Yes to challenge dapat! Hehe!

"Kaya ikaw, psst!

Tanggapin lahat yan kase that will make you YOU.

Walang excuse. YOU CAN DO IT."

Neri's growing enterprise

Neri's interest in business was cultivated by the positive response to her gourmet tuyo, which is now a bazaar staple.

The mother of one keeps a "pangarap journal" to keep track of all the business ideas she comes up with.

"Doon ako nagsusulat ng lahat ng ideas. Since bata ako, ginagawa ko yun…" Neri told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in August 2018.

You’ll never know.

To date, her mini enterprise includes her gourmet tuyo business; a bakeshop and an ukay-ukay shop.

Neri also sells sleepwear and linens online.

How does husband Chito show his support?

The Parokya ni Edgar frontman told PEP.ph in August 2018 that he just lets his wife do her thing.

He said, "I think she knows more about business than I do, so di na ako nakikialam masyado. Support na lang."

Chito has personally witnessed Neri's journey to becoming a self-made entrepreneur.

He continued, "Self-taught talaga siya, e. Natuto siya by failing a lot of times, several times.

"Andami niyang failed attempts bago niya makuha yung, kumbaga bago niya matutunan how to do everything. It took years talaga."
