A few celebrity couples have announced they are expecting.

Among them: Solenn Heussaff and husband Nico Bolzico, Max Collins and husband Pancho Magno, and Anne Curtis and husband Erwan Heussaff.

Many are wondering whether a baby is also on the way for Iza Calzado and her husband Ben Wintle.

But Iza said, "Hindi pa sa 2020 darating. In God's grace, baka 2021. In God's grace."

The actress spoke to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other members of the press at the cast party in Festival Mall, Muntinlupa City, of her movie Culion.

Iza explained in an earlier interview that she had to postpone baby plans to December 2020 because of two reasons: (1) work commitments (2) a sister of Ben is getting married.

The Kapamilya acress said, “Kasi napakatagal po nung hinihintay kong... finally daw ay mag-i-start ng pelikula sa Star Cinema.

“''Tsaka hindi pa rin naman ako ganun ka-ready, so… ikakasal din yung kapatid niya, so patatapusin ko muna lahat yun.

“Meron din akong pelikulang gustong... isa pang pelikula apart from that.”

Iza and Ben celebrated their first wedding anniversary on December 19.

They had a beach wedding at Club Paradise in Coron, Palawan, a memory Iza recalled in a touching message to her husband and posted it on Instagram.

She wrote, "A year in and I am more in love with you than ever. Through life’s ups and downs, through my crazy tantrums you have stayed by my side.

"Thank you for being my partner in life and for accepting me for who I am while encouraging and supporting me to bloom into the best version of myself.

"May we always remember this moment when God made His presence and blessing felt by giving us the most beautiful day and lighting ever.

"As we said on that day, together we are unbreakable. Happy Anniversary, my love. Here’s to the first of many!"

IZA IS GRATEFUL FOR 2019

As the year is about to end, Iza assessed the year that has passed, and said self-care is probably the biggest lesson she learned.

She told PEP.ph, "I'm still learning. I mean, I get tired, I push myself, my body too hard and the it breaks down. So I think, it's one of the biggest lessons."

The actress also listed down some of the things she's grateful for in 2019.

"Napakarami kong ipinagpapasalamat. Siyempre, yung nagsunud-sunod na nakagawa ako ng pelikula from Pandanggo sa Hukay 'tapos nag-iWant series kami although hindi pa ipinapalabas kasi may reshoot.

"'Tapos ginawa ko tong Culion, ginawa ko ung pelikula with Alfred Vargas and Shaina [Magdayao] na next year ipapalabas, I think...

"And then, busy with She Talks Asia, ang daming proyekto this year. We did our grassroots program nung Friday (December 20) with postpartum moms, many of them fom Taguig.

"Good health and my loved ones, and of course, Culion na nakapasok sa MMFF...Ang dami!"
