Over 14 million Filipinos in over 142 municipalities in Luzon have been affected by the eruption of Taal volcano on Sunday, January 12, in Batangas province.
Some 4,000 families living in the vicinity of the eruption have been moved to 35 evacuation centers for safety.
The thousands of people who are forced to leave their homes, jobs, and sources of income need our help.

The Philippine Red Cross is accepting donations for the evacuees. Donors may bring face masks, canned goods, cup noodles, mosquito nets, clean towels, and mats to their main office located at 37 EDSA corner Boni Ave., Mandaluyong City. For cash donations, please go to their official website.

ABS-CBN Foundation is also accepting donations in kind. Bring rice, easy-open canned goods, bottled water, face masks, and hygiene kits to Sagip Kapamilya Warehouse on #13 Examiner St., West Triangle, Quezon City.

PETA Asia announced on Monday, January 13, that their animal rescue team is "on the ground, providing food and basic veterinary care to animals" in the affected areas.
Their team is currently on stand-by to help the animals on the island including the horses that were left on the mountainside.
PETA Asia also announced that they are in need of donations for the animals. Items needed are telescopes, dog and cat food, face masks, leashes, and collars. Donors may bring these items at Unit 706, Fedman Building 199, Salcedo Street, Legaspi Village, Makati City.

On Twitter, the official account of the UP Office of the Student Regent posted, "Victims of the Taal Volcano eruption that occurred today are in need of immediate help. Donations shall be sent out to evacuees and areas affected. They are in need of facemasks, mats, ready-to-eat food, water, clothes, etc."
Donations can be dropped off at UP Baguio, UP Diliman, UP Manila, and UP Los Banos.

The Polytechnic University of the Philippines in Sta. Mesa Manila will start receiving donations tomorrow, January 14.
The university made the announcement on Facebook today, January 13. Things you can donate include "easy to open canned goods, clothes, bottled water, medicines, face masks, blankets, towels, and mats."
The drop off point is in the PRUDENTE CONFERENCE ROOM on 4th Floor South Wing of PUP Sta. Mesa Main Building.
