Melai Cantiveros knows how lucky she is to live the celebrity life she has now.

Looking back at how different her life would have been hadn't she entered Pinoy Big Brother in 2010, Melai says she probably would have married her first boyfriend in General Santos City.

So, ako, willing na maging housewife, ganoon.

"Ano lang naman ako noon, 10 years ago," the ABS-CBN host-comedienne says during her launch as endorser of Adobo Connection on January 21 at SM North EDSA.

Melai, who is now a mother of two, then quips, "Siguro, isa ako sa mga waiter ng Adobo Connection.

"Haha!

"Dumating iyong pagiging artista, so I live this life now. Thank you Lord."

Melai is also aware of the uncertainty of her celebrity life.

To prepare for the future, Melai has explored other opportunities outside showbiz, starting with owning a franchise of a restaurant.

Melai is married to her fellow Pinoy Big Brother housemate Jason Francisco.

They have two daughters named Mela and Stela.
