The Department of Labor and Employment is providing PHP5,000 worth of financial assistance to employees of private companies that will apply for the COVID-19 Adjustment Measures Program.

Walang pangkain sa araw-araw—ito ang dahilan ng ilan sa mga taga-Luzon kung bakit kailangan nilang lumabas ng bahay at magtrabaho habang ang buong lugar ay nasa ilalim ng enhanced community quarantine.

Maraming netizens at celebrities—tulad nila Angel Locsin, Bianca Gonzalez, Erwan Heussaff, at DJ Chacha—ang naka-relate dito, at hindi nag-atubiling manawagan sa gobyerno.

Kung kaya't nitong Huwebes, March 19, 2020, inanunsiyo ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) na kanilang ilulunsad ang COVID-19 Adjustment Measures Program (CAMP) para sa mga workers na affected ng mga kaganapan sa Pilipinas ngayon.

Sa pamamagitan ng CAMP, maaring makatanggap ng "one-time financial assistance" amounting to PHP5,000 ang mga empleyado ng private companies na nag-implementa ng flexible working arrangement o pansamantalang nagsara dahil sa pandemic.

Ang CAMP ay sinimulang iimplementa ng DOLE nitong Sabado, March 21, 2020, nationwide.

PAANO MAKUKUHA ANG PHP5,000 CASH ASSISTANCE NG DOLE?

Ang mga employers o may-ari ng small to medium enterprises (take note: not the employees) ang nakatalagang mag-apply ng CAMP financial assistance para sa kanilang mga empleyado.

I-download sa DOLE website ang Establishment Report Form, i-fill up ito, at ilakip ng akopya ng company payroll ng emplayado sa buwan ng February o nakalipas na buwan.

Pagkatapos nito, isa-submit ng employer ang documents sa e-mail ng DOLE Regional Office na nakatalaga sa kanilang location of business.

Ito ay susuriin ng DOLE for three working days.

Kung aprubado, makakatanggap ng "Notice of Approval" ang employer.

Pagkatapos, ipapadala ng DOLE ang CAMP financial assistance sa mga empleyado via bank transfer sa kani-kanilang payroll account o di kaya'y money remittance para sa mga may cash payroll.

Marapat na magpadala ng Notice of Completion ang employer sa DOLE matapos ang mga transaksiyon.

Kung hindi naman eligible ang mga empleyado o kulang o hindi klaro o falsified o tampered ang requirements, makakatanggap ng "Notice of Denial" ang employer.
