Six months in lockdown together has strengthened the love between Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes.

Is there anything she is able to do for Dingdong now that she wasn't able to do before?

“Wala naman kasi akong hindi nagagawa sa kanya, arte niya,” Marian tells PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other members of the press during a Zoom interview on September 12, 2020.

Marami siyang time, e.

'Tapos, nag-e-exercise kami every morning kapag may pagkakataon. Arte-arte lang,” the Kapuso Prime-time Queen adds.

MORE TIME FOR KIDS

Aside from having quality time with her husband, Marian is happy she has more time with her kids Zia and Ziggy.

After giving birth to Zia in November 2015, she returned to TV in May 2016 through Yan Ang Morning, and in July 2016 through Encantadia.

So sometimes, Marian would jokingly tell her son, “Ikaw o, simula nang pinanganak hanggang ngayon, nandito si Mama."

Laughing, she resumes, “Siyempre, deadma lang siya. Maligalig ang batang iyon.”

Marian says the time she spends with her kids every day is priceless.

She jokes, “Nganga!”

One thing they miss are the family gatherings.

The 36-year-old mom says, "Siyempre, every Sunday, nandoon kami sa bahay ng mga Mommy niya [Dingdong], get-together, or sila Mama, pupunta rito para magsama-sama as family.

LESS INCOME FOR DONGYAN

Unlike many others who find themselves struggling financially during this pandemic, Marian and Dingdong are financially secure. Has the pandemic affected them negatively in any way?

“Oo naman!” Marian replies quickly.

In a separate interview with PEP.ph, Dingdong admitted his hesitation over lock-in taping for Descendants of the Sun since there is always a risk of contracting the COVID-19 virus.

How did she and Dingdong discuss his return to work? Was it a difficult decision for both of them?

Although siyempre, adjustment talaga. Iyong tinutulugan nila, walang signal. So, mahirap.

Descendants of the Sun has finished taping, and Dingdong may be reunited with his family by tomorrow morning, after his self-quarantine period.

For her part, Marian has confirmed that she is no longer doing the series My First Yaya.
