Rich Asuncion is living a happy and blessed life.
The Kapuso actress is now based in Australia with her husband Benjamin Mudie and their two-year-old daughter Bela Brie.
In July, the 31-year-old star revealed in her Instagram post that she was offered a full-time job at a day-care center.
She is working as a waitress, too.
In an exclusive interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) via Instagram Messenger last December 15, the Kapuso actress described her life away from the limelight.
She began, "Sa totoo lang, enjoy ako sa work ko as a waitress.
Rich entered showbiz in 2006, emerged as StarStruck Season 4 First Princess in 2007, and became a beauty queen, Bb. Pilipinas first runner-up, in 2009.
She took up Tourism at the University of the Philippines in Diliman.
RICH ASUNCION'S FAMILY LIFE WITH BEN AND BELA
The Boholana mom said the COVID-19 pandemic has not only strengthened her marriage with her husband, but it has also allowed them to raise their daughter in a good environment.
She wrote, “Mas lalong tumibay ang samahan namin Ben.
“Siya naman very supportive of me.
“And I honestly think, we are in the best place-to-be in terms of raising Bela."
Canberra has zero active cases of COVID-19, according to its website as of December 17, 2020, hence, its safety protocols are less strict than Manila.
She continued, “Kasi marami na siyang friends sa Day Care. We are happy she still gets to live normally amidst the pandemic.
“Maayos kasi ang pag-handle nila dito kaya parang meron kaming safe bubble dito.”
Bela turned two on December 4, 2020, and the proud mom posted on Instagram:
“Bela Brie, I feel emotional how you slowly grow into your own independent self and how you are not just my little baby girl anymore. I am mighty proud though because I see a fearless, fun-loving spirit in you. I love your little kisses and cuddles. They're the best! You are the best thing that ever happened to me! Happy 2nd birthday anak.”
RICH ASUNCION ON LIFE AWAY FROM THE LIMELIGHT
She may have a secure family life in Australia, but Rich still believes there's no place like home.
“Hopefully makabalik pa kami, pero at least three years pa siguro kami dito sa Australia."
This is why she also wishes that life would return to normal for everyone around the world.
Rich may be living away from the limelight now, but she is still happy when she is recognized as an actress.
Rich was last seen in the GMA-7 teleserye Dahil sa Pag-Ibig in 2019.
