"Happy, happy ako talaga...."

Ito ang nakangiting sinabi ni Rina Navarro tungkol sa buhay niya ngayon.

Nang tanungin siya tungkol sa nalalapit na kasal ng dating karelasyon na si Dave Almarinez sa dating kaibigan na si Ara Mina, walang negatibong mababakas sa mukha niya.

"Well, first of all, I'm really happy where I am now. Happy, happy ako talaga.

"And obviously, we all have moved on. So I hear about it, siyempre alam ko naman yun, what happened, what's happening in his life."

Indeed, time heals all wounds, at naka-move forward na si Rina.

Dugtong niya, "And as the father of my son, all I can say is I wish and I pray good things for him.

"Coz whatever good things that will happen to him is also good for our son."

"We launched late last year, around December. I started it with my friends, puro girls kami.

"And it is by direct-selling and most of the products that we are developing and that we developed are, kumbaga, we developed them from scratch.

"They were developed in a reputable laboratory, and dun nagsimula lahat..."

Ang pagkahilig niya sa skin-care products ay naging very useful sa pagbuo ng "No Filter Kit."

Aniya, "It is a complete skin-care set wherein everything, like all the concerns of women and men for their skin, is being addressed by this one.

"Kumbaga, this is the kit that you need, wala nang iba.

"I am a big hoarder, and I test a lot of skin-care products, and they're very pricey, expensive siya.

"And I realized that you know, you can actually put all of those in a bottle."

So she approached a skin laboratory, "And I asked him, sabi ko baka puwede namang lahat ng magada na ingredients na napakadaming ginagamit ko, ilagay natin sa isang kit para hindi na siya complicated.

"So we created a set that will uncomplicate taking care of the skin.

"Kumbaga ito na lang talaga. So it's our baby and it's our first product."

RINA NAVARRO'S FOUNDATION WITH BEA ALONZO

"Actually, Bea and I, naging friends kami nung 2020 nga. Marami kaming plans, sobrang dami naming gustong gawin together.

"We have a lot of plans for business, negosyante rin kasi si Bea, if you know about that side of her.

"And when we forged our friendship and our business plans together, alam niyo after one week, biglang nag-lockdown, na sa unang alam ko, sa San Juan, 'tapos may pandemic na."

Sa pagpapatuloy ni Rina, "And then I told Bea, 'Bea anong gagawin natin?'

"And then there's a certain, you know like, on my end, since I'm a businesswoman, there's actually an amount that I have that I was intending to use for marketing.

"And siyempre di ba pag marketing namimigay ka rin naman, nag-i-introduce ka ng products, so I told Bea, 'Bea okay lang ba sa iyo since wala pa tayong puwedeng maging projects, walang makakaintindi ng gagawin natin na timely and relevant, tulong muna tayo sa mga frontliners?'

"And she immediately said yes, and when we posted it, in a few months, wala pang two months we were able to raise about 13 million pesos in cash and in kind.

"And we never stop until now. That's how I Am Hope started."

"Ah, Bea and I, we really share a lot of personal things about each other. We've spent a lot of time, we call each other 'twin,' pero akala kasi ng iba dahil magkamukha, siyempre sobrang hindi!

"Pero yung 'twin' na yun, it was a sign. It's 11:11 p.m. when feeling namin the stars aligned, kasi ang dami naming things in common.

"And para na rin niya akong ate because when she needs advice, talagang she would come to me. And pag ako rin, kung kailangan ko ng advice, she's always one of the three people I call na, 'Twin, may problema ako,' ganyan.

"So yes, in that level I can say that we share a lot of mga personal na ano, pag meron akong, pag may gusto akong sabihin, tine-text ko lang yun sa kanya parati."

"We just both believe that we shouldn't settle for less than what we deserve.

"And that we should always know when to walk away...that's it!"
