Comedian Mimiyuuuh and athlete-actor Ricci Rivero have found success on the Internet as content creators and influencers.

They have to be that popular to be included in a top international brand's advertising campaign, the Pepsi #HitSaSarap promo, with showbiz A-listers Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.

The ad's digital billboards with Mimiyuuuh, Ricci, Kathryn and Daniel were plastered in Downtown Los Angeles and New York City beginning mid-August 2021.

If it was a milestone even for KathNiel, moreso for Mimiyuuuh and Ricci.

Both are now enjoying the hallmarks of having arrived, and for newly famed people like them who started humbly, it is easy to get waylaid by the headiness of success.

Curiously, how have fame and fortune affected Mimiyuuu and Ricci?

Mimiyuuuh said, "I never felt po na parang I’ve made it.

"Ewan ko po ang weird parang, still, I need to prove myself more every time.

"I think life should be like that. Never settle for less, be the best version of yourself."

The 24-year-old YouTube vlogger further quipped, "Yung Nanay ko po sabi, 'You’re grounded!' Iyon po, that’s what makes me keep grounded [laughs]."

Seriously, Mimiyuuuh said the presence of her family and closest friends is her reality check, perhaps because it reminds her to be grateful she has come this far.

"My family and friends ko po before I became Mimiyuuuh, so love naman po talaga nila ako, ng mga tao, before I became Mimiyuuuh.

"That’s what keeps me grounded po."

As for Ricci, he thanked his followers, including his detractors for helping him become a better, more mature person.

The basketball player-turned-actor viewed their criticisms as a call to improve himself.

"With the fans kasi before when I was starting, mahirap yung transition ko kasi nag-start ako with basketball, which is different kind of industry than showbiz.

"When I started yung transition ko, there are times na lahat napapansin na, kahit hindi naman sya totoo, parang people were able to... make up stories.

"Nung una parang naapektuhan pa’ko and all lalo na ‘pag about sa family. But then, nung tumatanda mas naging mature."

Ricci said he reads negative comments and considers them constructive criticisms more than just plain bashing.

He elaborated, "Binabasa ko pa rin sila, hindi ko sila iniiwasan.

"Kasi what if at some point tama naman sila, na may mali ako, may shortcomings ako. At some point kasi, lahat naman tayo nagkakamali.

"Kapag may mga ganun, tina-try ko rin na kapag mukhang tama naman yung sinasabi nila, na may mali ako at some point aayusin ko rin.

"I don't think that as bash then yung iba naman na halata po talaga na walang point, parang kailangan hayaan mo na lang sila.

"Kasi mai-stress ka pa tapos magkakaroon ka pa ng kasalanan kasi maba-bad trip ka sa isang tao na hindi naman dapat.

"For me, hindi ko na siya talaga tine-take as negative thing."

Mimiyuuuh agreed with Ricci, but added she never let the opinion of others affect her.

She said, "Pero parang na-realize ko na, oo nga may mali din naman talaga ako at some point...

"But, you know, you should never change who you are because of what you hear from other people.

"At the end of the day, the opinion that matters the most is what you think of yourself.

"Focus lang po ako sa family sa goals ko and sa best version of myself."

Meanwhile, Ricci shared he had plans to go to the U.S. for a vacation and was looking forward to seeing the billboards in Los Angeles and New York, but the pandemic restrictions thwarted his plans.

Ricci told (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in an interview via Zoom, "Medyo umasa ako doon, kasi I was supposed to be going to L.A. din dapat nung August 15.

"Akala ko, inexpect ko na maabutan ko siya. Since ECQ nga and I just had my second dose kasi so gusto ng parents ko na mag-take effect muna yung second dose before leaving the country.

"I even asked nga how long ba iyon nandoon kasi gusto ko nga sana puntahan and all."
