Filipino K-drama fans are rejoicing now that their favorite stars are starting to come back to the country for live fan meet events!
KIM SOO HYUN IN MANILA
On April 30, 2022, global clothing brand Bench announced that they are bringing South Korean superstar Kim Soo Hyun back to Manila for a fan meet.
Dubbed One Extraordinary Day With Kim Soo Hyun, the event will be held this June 10, 2022, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Soo Hyun will also be the first K-drama star to hold a live fan meet in the Philippines since the COVID-19 pandemic started in 2020.
Fans can get tickets by purchasing items in participating Bench stores: PHP10,000 minimum single-receipt purchase for VIP Section; PHP6,000 single-receipt purchase for Patron A section; PHP4,000 single-receipt purchase for Patron B section; PHP3,000 single-receipt purchase for Lower Box section; PHP1,100 single-receipt purchase for Upper Box section; and PHP550 single-receipt purchase for General Admission section.

This is not the first time Soo Hyun will visit the country. In fact, the 34-year-old actor has been to the country twice.
His last visit to the country was back in May 2019, for the grand launch of a smart TV brand at Okada Manila in Parañaque City.
During the event, Soo Hyun revealed that he has been to the country for a vacation when he was younger.
With the help of a translator, he said, "I came here in the Philippines when I was young to travel and now I've got this opportunity to be here in this event."
Soo Hyun rose to fame after starring in several top-rating K-dramas such as My Love From the Star (2013), The Moon Embracing the Sun (2012), and Dream High (2011), among many others.
In 2020, he starred in the hit K-drama series It’s Okay Not To Be Okay alongside K-drama actress Seo Ye Ji.
HWANG IN YEOP IN MANILA
True Beauty actor Hwang In Yeop will be visiting the country not just once but twice!
Cosmetics brand BYS Philippines will be bringing the 31-year-old K-drama actor to the country for a meet-and-greet event dubbed Hwang In Yeop BYS Fun Meet In Manila happening on June 19, 2022, Sunday, at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.
In Yeop was tapped as the face of the brand's skincare collection in September 2021.

In an interview, he recalled, as translated in English, "I lived in the Philippines for about four years... I lived in Davao City for about four years."
