Has there been a girl linked to Markki Stroem?
Since he joined showbiz six years ago, he has been generally quiet about his love life.
To date, this Filipino-Norwegian artist remains loveless.
"I'm giving myself two years of being single, two years of singlehood," Markki said at the Perfect Pair Dinner Show held in Palazzo Verde, Vista Alabang, Las Pinas City, yesterday, February 14.
But whatever is the status of his love life, Markki remarked, "I'd like to be private until it's like marriage na. Until it reaches that point, I'd like to remain quiet because there's so much controversies."
The 30-year-old actor cited celebrity couples who allowed their relationships to be in the spotlight, and got hounded by the media up to the time they broke up.
Back to his search for love, he believes in "finding your ultimate soulmate that you want to spend the rest of your life with," but it's "tough."
When asked if he already found his soulmate, Markki revealed, "It's happened but it hasn't fully happened, so when it happens I will talk about it."
In the meantime, Markki wants to focus on his career and make more music.
After his stint on ABS-CBN teleserye Doble Kara and in the musical play Jersey Boys, he is also set to star in a movie and one or two plays this 2017.
He also plans to join triathlon this year, and has been posting about his training on his social media account.
"I'm starting triathlon again because when I was younger, when I was 12 to 19, I used to do a lot of triathlon, so I'm gonna try to get back into that again this year, get back into shape.
"I have to be back to the three-years-ago body I haven't seen in a while," he quipped.
