Barbie Forteza made it on the roster of stars deemed “network bets” in YES! Magazine 100 Most Beautiful Stars for 2017.
The 19-year-old Kapuso actress headlined the top-rating primetime series Meant To Be together with four leading men Ken Chan, Ivan Dorschner, Addy Raj, and Jak Roberto.
The romantic-comedy series ran from January 9 to June 23 this year.
Asked how she rewarded herself after a job well done, Barbie related, “Siguro tatlong araw na sunud-sunod na tulog.
Barbie also shared she’s spending her earnings wisely.
Turning 20 on July 31, Barbie said her trip to the U.S. is also her birthday gift to herself.
Her planned itinerary includes the planetarium in New York, “Gusto ko ma-witness yung eclipse sa New York on the 24th of August.
"Gusto ko puntahan yung mga planetariums doon.
“And, of course, I want to spend time with my sister.

PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) spoke with Barbie on the sidelines of YES! 100 Most Beautiful Stars' red-carpet event, held at Luxent Hotel in Quezon City, Tuesday night, July 11.
MISSING THEM ALL. Barbie admitted she misses the company of her Meant To Be leading men, “Oo, kasi kung tutuusin, anim na buwan kaming magkakasama araw-araw.
So, baka mag-get together kami pag-uwi niya.”
Barbie said she’d also love to see the production team behind their successful show.
MOVIE PROJECT. Barbie herself will be busy in the coming months as a movie is “in the works” with Regal Films.
She still has no idea who her leading man will be, and hopes it will be shown within the year.
But one thing’s sure, the Kapuso actress is determined to establish herself as a serious actress.
Sharing her showbiz career goals, she said, “Assurance lang na okey ako bilang artista.
"Na parang I don’t need to ask for any approval na, ‘Okey ka, okey kang artista.’
