Sarah Lahbati is excited to find out the gender of her second baby with fiancé Richard Gutierrez.
"We're all excited to know the gender!" Sarah told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) during a short one-on-one interview at the Close-Up Fresh Attraction event last September 28, in Bonifacio Global City.
The Kapamilya actress said her pregnancy seems more manageable this time around compared to her first time with Zion.
She recalled, "With Zion, it was hard physically.
"I had morning sickness for a long time, and I would vomit nonstop.
"With this pregnancy, it’s kinda easier.
"I’d have headaches and moodiness, but it’s easier that Zion’s."
Is she nervous?
Sarah quickly replied, "No, no. I don't feel that I'm nervous. I feel like I'm excited more than anything."
The Kapamilya star is currently three months pregnant.
KUYA ZION. Zion was just as excited to learn that he would be having a younger sibling soon.
In fact, in a video clip Sarah posted on Instagram days after her announcement, Sarah and Richard's firstborn even wanted to have "10 baby brothers and 10 baby sisters."
When asked if Zion wanted a brother or a sister, Sarah revealed in a separate interview with the press, "Si Zion, gusto niya baby boy."
Sarah, Richard, and Zion live with Richard's brother Elvis, his wife Alexa, and their three-year-old daughter Aria.
Sarah continued, "Meron silang baby girl. So sabi ni Zion, 'I want a baby boy kasi we have Aria at home!'"
Even though Zion feels excited about becoming a big brother soon, Sarah admitted she has yet to get used to the idea that her attention will be divided once the new baby arrives.
Hence, the celebrity mom has been reassuring Zion that he will remain the apple of his parents' eyes.
"Siyempre ipinapakita ko sa kanya na mahal ko pa rin siya para hindi magselos.
"Kumbaga, hinahanda na niya sarili na magiging kuya siya."
She added, "Hindi ko pa siya tinatawag na kuya kasi ayoko naman ma-feel niya na parang na left out siya. Kapag nandiyan na yung baby, do’n na."
WEDDING ON HOLD. Sarah's pregnancy is now the couple's top priority, and she prefers to focus on the baby when she gives birth.
She said, "Gusto ko rin mag-focus sa pregnancy kaysa mag-focus ako sa wedding…ma-i-stress lang ako."
Sarah and Richard will resume talks about their wedding plans after welcoming their second baby.
