Cai Cortez found the love of her life on Tinder, a popular app for meeting new people.

Two years since they got married in a civil ceremony in July 2016, the actress has only good things to say about her husband Wissem Rkhami.

“Okey naman siya,” she said during the presscon of Ang Forever Ko'y Ikaw.

“He’s been so in love with our son.

“He’s been here for four years no'ng nag-meet kami.

“So hindi naman kami nag-LDR or anything."

(LDR means long distance relationship.)

“He works for a Canadian company, office-office. So balance na balance kami. Left brain siya ako, right brain.”

Cai said that her husband is also a good provider.

“Wala akong masasabi.

“Ang ginagawa ko lang nagwu-work, which I’m very happy about, nag-aalaga ng baby.

"Being a housewife, inaalagaan ko siya. Yun lang. All the rest, siya. I’m so lucky.”

Cai said she never imagined married life to be this fun.

She noted, “Very fulfilled and happy. I’m so lucky to have met a person, lalo online ko siya na-meet, na ganito siya ka-responsible father.

“He adores our son, wala na akong hihilingin pa.

“One year and two months na ang dyunakis [gayspeak for son], naglalakad na, nagsasalita na! hahaha!”

She gave birth to her son Bibo in December 2016.

DIFFERENCES. Just like most couples, Cai and Wissem also have their disagreements, especially when it comes to parenting styles.

How does she deal with it?

“...natutunan ko na lang na I just submit to him kasi lagi namang good ang intensiyon niya, hindi naman ako mapapasama.

“Yun siguro yung malaking realization ko nung ikinasal, that you really have to submit to your husband.

“Hindi puwedeng ikaw palagi ang masunod.”

Cai and Wissem also differ in terms of food preferences.

She said her husband is picky when it comes to food.

Ako ang nagsi-serve sa kanya, like before, pasta.”

The daughter of Rez Cortez learned how to cook through her husband, who's a graduate of Hotel and Restaurant Management.

She has also been learning how to cook Tunisian recipes?

“Merong mashed potato sa loob with iba-ibang meat na gusto mo and then may egg, cheese.

“Meron silang mga soup na masarap. Meron silang maanghang, ma-lemon, kakaiba.”
