Kim Chiu marvels at the fact that it's so easy for fans to retrieve old photos from the Internet these days.

When she posted her travel vlog featuring her trip to South Korea with rumored boyfriend Xian Lim last March, she was reminded that she traveled alone during her first visit in 2010.

She said, "Nagulat nga ako kasi yung ibang fans nahanap nila yung picture ko before. Sad-sadan, Gloomy-gloomy-han.

"Hinahanap ko yung self ko, 2010 yun, e. So parang malungkot talaga."

That was the year she and Gerald Anderson broke up.

She continued, "Ngayon, ibang memory naman and mas fun.

"Dati parang ayaw ko puntahan yung Korea kasi bad memories. Ngayon okay na siya."

"Nagpunta kami ng Nami Island, 'tapos [kumain ng] mga Korean food."

The ABS-CBN actress is the latest celebrity to venture into YouTube vlogging.

She officially created her YouTube channel in September 2017.

PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) learned more about Kim's online channel in an interview last May 6, at Berocca's Conquer Big Days event with Paulo Avelino in SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City.

The 28-year-old Kapamilya star said she has been keeping an online diary she called "KIM'S DAY-ary" on her channel as a way of keeping her fans updated on everything she does outside film and television.

"I'm trying to get in touch with my supporters and fans and parang gusto ko makilala nila ako more, behind the camera, kung anong ginagawa ko.

"Yung iba dun, ako nag-e-edit, 'tapos yung iba, may nagha-handle for me."

She added, "Kasi ako na-ano ako, e, parang nung na-open ko yung YouTube world, pag pinapanood parang nakikilala mo na yung tao.

"Naa-appreciate ko yung shine-share nila.

"So why not gawin ko din?

"Siguro once in a blue moon, kung ano yung mga latest na nangyayari sa akin.

"I'll share a little bit, mga five-minute videos, so ayun."

It's only been recently when she started taking vlogging a little more seriously.

Aside from "KIM'S DAY-ary," the former Pinoy Big Brother housemate started uploading travel vlogs, beauty features, and bag raids among many others.

In total, Kim has uploaded over 64 videos on her channel, which has so far garnered over 25,403 subscribers at press time.

She told PEP.ph, "Ngayon gusto ko yung mga travels. And yung mga travel ko, ako mismo nag-e-edit nun.

"Yung iba dun, updates lang siya about me...

"Yung mag events na showbiz, andun din pero sila nag-e-edit.

"Yung personal trips ko, like yung Korea, ako nag-edit nun."

Kim continued, "Inaaral ko lang 'how to ganito,' 'how to ganyan.' So little by little naaaral ko siya."

"Andun na lahat, e, parang YouTube ngayon is the new TV."

When asked how she's able to fit everything including vlogging to her busy schedule, Kim's tip is to know your priorities.

The Star Magic talent narrated, "Recently, medyo dikit-dikit lang talaga yung mga gagawin and every thing.

"Siguro know your priorities, kung ano yung uunahin mo.

"Ako naka-note ako sa phone ko, e.

"I'm very hands on with everything I do.

"Sa schedules ko, sa kung sinong mag-aayos sa akin, kung sinong gusto ko mag-hair sa akin, or mag-style sa akin."
