Glaiza de Castro on meeting "the one": "Dapat buong-buo na ako at buo rin siya."

Glaiza de Castro was one of the guests invited to the low-key wedding ceremony of fellow GMA-7 actress Rich Asuncion and rugby player Benjamin Mudie in Hong Kong last May 28.

The ceremony was a refreshing affair in Glaiza’s eyes as it made her appreciate the unconventional type of weddings even more.

“Very simple lang kasi si Rich, ganon talaga siyang tao. Si Ben, ganon lang din,” she told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and GMA Network after the launch of Butterfly Twists’ Summer/Spring 2018 collection last May 30, in Bonifacio Global City.

“Parang okay, plinano nila, pero they are open din to anything.

“Walang mga pa-program, walang kahit ano.

“Kunwari doon sa boat cruise nila, iyong reception, parang it was supposed to have a program, pero sabi nila ayaw nila iyon.

“Ako naman iyong, ‘Well, at least breaking the tradition na you’re obliged to speak about the couple, ganon or memory of them.’

“Kung gusto mo magsalita, e, okay, di ba? Kung hindi naman, okay lang din. Wala namang problema.”

IDEAL PARTNER. Glaiza then revealed that the ceremony got her thinking about her own wedding one day.

“Definitely meron something na hindi formal about the wedding.

“Binubuo ko na siya, e.”

But the Contessa actress was also quick to admit that she's missing one key detail in conceptualizing her dream wedding: the groom.

The singer-actress then referred to one of her original songs, “Sinta.”

“Complete na ako pagdating mo, and I think iyon iyong parang pinaka, ewan ko, ideal ba?

PRESSURED TO GET MARRIED? Having turned 30 this year, does Glaiza still have an ideal age to get married?

She revealed, “Sinabi ko na iyon before, e.

“Sabi ko, ‘Siguro by the time na mag-30 na ako, gusto ko na ikinakasal na ako.’

“Anong nangyari?!

“Para sa akin, walang ideal age or parang time for that.

“When it happens, it happens.

“And it will happen naturally.”
