Judy Ann Santos is the chef; Gladys Reyes is the restaurant owner.

They are also best friends, so one thing led to another.

How did it happen? Here's the recent chat of PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) with Juday and Gladys at the opening of the latter's restaurant.

Judy Ann says she wasn't surprised that Gladys had plunged headlong into the restaurant business, especially that her friend's husband Christopher Roxas enjoys concocting dishes.

So huwag niyo na akong apihin.

So, does Gladys cook?

Gladys: Nagluluto naman, kapag special occasion. Super special occasion, very rare moments. Siyempre, alam niya ang iba’t ibang hiwa. Ako naman, natuto lang ako through my dad. Kasi ang dad ko, Kapampangan. Hindi talaga ko nag-aral. Si Christopher talaga itong Estela. Ako, e, super supportive wife lang.

ADVICE FROM JUDAY

Since Judy Ann was once a restaurant owner, does she have any advice for Gladys?

Juday: Wala akong ia-advice!

The Kapamilya star also emphasized the importance of communication when sorting things out.

She said, “At the end of the day, sila ang magre-report sa iyo, magsasabi sa iyo ng little things, ganyan, liquidation. Ako, kampante naman ako sa relationship nila ni Chris na whatever happens they’ll find a way to talk it out.

Meron at meron talagang something will come out, one way or another.

"It’s up to you kung paano mo iha-handle, kasi pera iyan, e."

That day, July 31, Juday was among the guests of honor during the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The restaurant is located in Brickroad, Sta. Lucia East Centro Mall, Cainta, Rizal.
