Last October 19, Kapuso actress Kris Bernal excitedly shared on her Instagram that she's looking forward to starting her own vlog (video blog) very soon.

Her vlog content won't be limited to topics such as fashion, beauty and travel, but will also include her showbiz activities and experiences as an entrepreneur.
According to Kris, the primary motivation for her vlog is to serve as an inspiration to young girls with big dreams.
"Actually, gusto kong i-empower ang maraming girls ngayon, especially yung may mga dreams na magkaroon ng career na gusto nila.
"I just want to tell them na huwag silang matakot na sumabay sa race.
"Never give up on yourself kasi ang makakatulong lang sa kanila ay ang sarili nila.
"Tulad ko kasi noon, takot akong pasukin ang ilang bagay na wala akong kaalam-alam.
''Pero naging matiyaga ako. I learned through my efforts. Hindi ako sumuko.
"Now I can say na I've empowered myself to be who I am today.
"Kung nagawa ko iyon, kaya rin iyon ng iba," Kris told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) during the media launch of GMA-7's afternoon prime teleserye Asawa Ko, Karibal Ko held last October 8, at GMA Network Center.
THRIVING BUSINESS VENTURES
Kris seems to find good balance in handling her showbiz schedules and entrepreneurial ventures given the positive rewards she gets from both.
On the heels of opening her Korean BBQ restaurant, she also launched her exclusive lipstick line.
"Ibang mundo kasi iyon.
''Seryoso ako sa tinayo kong negosyo.
"Ayokong mawala ang mga kinita ko sa showbiz kaya aside sa business, I also invest in properties tulad ng house na binili ko sa States.
"Alam naman natin na ang kasikatan ng artista sa showbiz ay hindi pangmatagalan, di ba?
''Kaya habang kumikita pa ako, marunong na akong mag-ipon at ilagay sa maganda ang mga napagpaguran ko," she explained.
PLANNING FOR HER FUTURE FAMILY
But despite being a busy bee, Kris is well aware that her biological clock is ticking, that's why she's giving herself three more years before finally settling down.
She admitted, "I'm 29 years old now. Gusto ko by age 32 ay may sariling family na ako.
"Yun naman ang napagkasunduan namin ni Perry [Choi, her non-showbiz boyfriend].
''Sabi ko, magiging ready ako in three years. By that time, okey na ako.
''Ready na akong magkaroon ng pamilya.
"Kung sakaling yayain niya akong magpakasal ngayon, hindi pa ako ready talaga.
"Marami pa kasi akong gustong gawin ngayon hanggang mag-31 years old.
"Wala namang problema with him. Naiintindihan niya ang mga gusto kong mangyari sa buhay."
