Lindsay Custodio became a household name when she joined Ang TV in 1992.
She left the limelight in 2000, the year she married Julius Caesar Platon II.

She became a full-time housewife to the Batangas politician, and a hands-on mom to their two kids: Sean, 16, and Charisse, 12.
From time to time, the 40-year-old Lindsay would attend showbiz events, but always with Julius Caesar as her plus one.

In 2012, PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) had the chance to ask Lindsay about her youthful glow and well-maintained figure.
Smiling, she looked at her husband and said, "Siguro dahil mabait ang aking asawa, magaling siyang mag-alaga, and walang binibigay na problema."
Does she follow a diet plan?
"No naman, but I try to control the rice lang minsan. Kaya lang kapag masarap ang ulam, talagang malakas pa rin akong kumain!"
How about a fitness routine?
"I exercise, but I exercise at home, hindi na iyong nag-gi-gym. Kasi nga I don’t really have time to go to the gym.
"Aerobics, gano’n lang, and siguro nakatulong din iyong mga mommy time."
Back then, she said that leaving her showbiz career was a mutual decision with Julius Caesar.
"Kasi my husband, nala-line siya into politics.
"Alam mo naman ang trabaho ng public servant, always nasa labas sila, nasa mga barangay, so he’s very busy.
"So, napag-usapan namin talaga na it’s really very important that’s there’s one parent na talagang tututok sa mga bata.
"Although my husband is very hands-on din, he’s a hands-on father, kaya lang because of his work kaya medyo limited iyong kanyang time."
She admitted to missing her "first love," which was singing, and also her "taping days."
During her prime, Lindsay was able to release several studio albums, including My First and New Horizons.
She was also featured in the official soundtrack of movies Hataw Na (1995), Flames: The Movie (1997), and Gimik: The Reunion (1999).
Lindsay recounted, "...mga bata pa kasi kami noon. It was so much fun kasi hindi pa namin nare-realize na it’s work that we’re doing.
"We were just having fun and just doing what we like to do—like singing and acting."
But despite the lure of the limelight, the former actress-singer was firm about her choice of leading a quiet life in Tanauan, Batangas.
Maybe, someday, her own children will like the idea of entering showbiz.
"Kung gusto nila, why not? Hindi ako magiging hindrance sa kung ano man ang gusto nilang marating in the future.
"As parents, we’re just here lang naman to guide them and help them to be whatever they want to be in the future."
Lindsay's husband Julius, 43, died early today, November 19, 2018. He suffered a stroke while driving on SLEX Sucat.
