Aside from being a theater actress and managing other artists, Bianca Lapus is now a businesswoman.
Together with other partners, Bianca started her own clothing line called ZOUK, which can be bought online.
“Nagta-try naman ako ng bagong industry, clothing industry naman. Yung basic stylist, hindi ka na mag-iisip masyado. Puwedeng i-mix and match. Puwedeng pang-madam,” she told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in a recent interview.
Bianca started her new business just this April, and they decided to sell online as opposed to having a brick and mortar store.
ZOUK currently offers clothes for women, but it will possibly launch its collection for men soon.
And since she is pregnant with her fourth child, a maternity wear line is also in the works.
The actress has turned to her fellow celebrities for help in terms of promoting ZOUK, and the brand dresses up Janice de Belen who is taping for her latest teleserye, The General's Daughter.
Meanwhile, Bianca said that she will definitely tap her ex-husband Vhong Navarro once they already have clothes for men.
“Of course, dadamitan ko siya at wala siyang magagawa,” Bianca said with a laugh.
“Hindi, full support naman yun.”
Even if the former couple had called it quits, Bianca and Vhong remain good friends, and have jointly raised their son Ice.
“Oo, mas pinili na lang namin at saka parang nakaka-wrinkles pa kung may mga hanash-hanash pa kami. Matanda na kami sa mga ganun.
“Our son is already 20,” Bianca said.
Ice is also happy with their current set-up.
Bianca added, “Yun lang din naman ang goal namin, ang maging happy ang anak namin. Tanggap na rin naman niya ang sitwasyon, so the very least that we can give him is for him to see na nagtutulungan ang mga magulang niya.”
Neither Vhong nor Bianca has gotten married again. Vhong is with his long-time girlfriend Tanya Bautista, while Bianca is with the father of her two children.
“Hindi ko alam, parang na-trauma kami sa annulment,” Bianca mused.
The actress-entrepreneur admitted it was her choice not to get married yet even if she and her partner are about to have three children.
“Sobra kasing hirap nung annulment namin [ni Vhong]. Nakarating kami sa Court of Appeals. Binasura siya, ayaw paniwalaan.”
But Bianca added she still sees herself getting married again someday.
“One day, oo naman... pero sa ngayon, ipon-ipon muna, raket-raket muna.”
