“What’s your number one Manny Pacquiao memory?”
This was the host’s question for fans joining the games at PlayTime's exclusive watch party of Manny Pacquiao vs Mario Barrios at Monarch Makati on July 20, 2025.

The answers were split among Pacman’s many legendary bouts (De La Hoya! Marquez! Mayweather!) but there was always one thing in common: the memories shared all involved watching with fellow fans, friends, and family.
According to Krizia Cortez, Director of Public Relations of PlayTime, “our mission is to revolutionize online entertainment and the thing with entertainment is, it’s not just something that you watch–it’s something that you feel and you’ll live through…the form of entertainment we advocate for isn’t just purely online.”

So, after four long years, PlayTime made sure the return of the Pacquiao watch party tradition was far from an ordinary gathering or a normal livestream–and they did so by bringing a ton of exciting prizes!
It wasn’t just fight night excitement
The hype began even before the main event for PlayTime’s lucky attendees. A total of 10 lucky “ampao” cash prizes worth P2000 each were raffled off in between the undercard fights.
For those who didn’t get their name pulled, PlayTime flaunted their games expertise with a simple but deceptively difficult guess-the-emoji-sentence contest.

Attendees had a chance to nab a cool P2000 per correct answer, and Manny himself would have been impressed with how fast the crowd was raising their hands!
The festivities paused when the bell rang for Round 1 of Pacquiao vs. Barrios as the crowd was instantly engrossed in the boxing action–the venue erupting with excited shrieks and screams every time Pacquiao unleashed one of his trademark combinations.

Whenever the Las Vegas crowd chanted “Manny! Manny!” the same cheer resonated amongst the fans at Monarch–the atmosphere was electric and made the 47-minute fight fly by in what seemed like half the time.
Big wins all around
One could feel the room hold its collective breath when the judges called out the decision–and again when PlayTime announced it was time to pick a winner for the grand raffle prize afterwards.
Everybody’s name went back into the pot for a shot at the Grand prize 55-inch TV worth P25,000, but only one lucky viewer got to bring it home!
Aside from making sure everyone got to take part in the excitement of the grand draw, PlayTime also made sure no one went home empty-handed. They generously provided the audience with tote bags loaded with brand merch and even a Pacquiao pillow.

It’s Not Over Yet!
The fight may have ended in a draw, but Manny Pacquiao impressed everyone–defying predictions that the 46-year-old Boxing Hall of Famer was too old to stage a comeback. Our hero even hinted at another fight already.

Krizia told us that we should be stoked for another memorable off-line event. “PlayTime isn’t confined in the online space for entertainment…we want to own that space so that we remain relevant and we address and become closer to them [our community]. Moving forward, we want to create more immersive and more personal experiences for our players and our users.”

You all know what that means: Get ready for more PlayTime events that you simply can not miss! They have big plans to elevate viewing experiences even further and have a whole lot more fantastic prizes in store.
